Our Scout Troop is open to young people aged between 10 ½ and 14. We are dedicated to the development of young people and we are committed to the scouting movement. We regularly take part in such activities as camping, hiking and basic life skills; our aim is to develop the potential of young people through a balanced programme.

We meet every Friday evening between 1900 and 2100 at The Scout Hut in Meyrick Road.

2007 will be an exciting year for us. Not only will it mark 100 years of scouting (something we will be celebrating with several camps through the year) but it will also mark 50 years of the hut in Meyrick Road.

We will be launching a group badge to be worn on the uniform and we will have a family camp.

The main event will be the Hampshire Jamboree (h007) in the New Forest
